Malibu's Alec Wilimovsky Out Competes Elite Athletes at Malibu Nautica Triathlon

Alec Wilimovsky, a Malibu High School junior, sped past celebrities and elite athletes this weekend at the Malibu Nautica Triathlon. 

Wilimovsky finished the race with a time of 1:23:17.86, putting him fourth overall in the competition. The only racers who did better were elite athletes Evan Kraus (1:20:52.58), Andrew MacNaughton (1:21:19.08) and Jonathan Toker (1:21:39.73).

Wilimovsky, who is the younger brother of USA Swimming's national open water team member Jordan Wilimovsky, won his division, which included boys aged 14-17.
