PHOTOS: 2017 Santa Barbara International Film Festival Wraps

That's a wrap: 2017 Santa Barbara International Film Fest winners.

SANTA BARBARA, CA — Eleven days of glitz and glamour — and fun! The Santa Barbara International Film Festival celebrated its 32nd edition by offering a plethora of films from more than 50 countries, featuring 51 world premieres and 64 U.S. premieres, along with tributes to this year’s top talent, and panel discussions.

And on Saturday, Feb. 11, the 2017 festival culminated with the announcement of its juried award winners:

  • ADL Stand Up Award: “Strawberry Days”
  • Audience Choice Award: “My Hero Brother”
  • Best Documentary Award: “My Hero Brother”
  • Best Documentary Short Film Award: “Refugee and Refuge”
  • Bruce Corwin Award – Best Live Action Short Film: “It’s been like a year”
  • Bruce Corwin Award – Best Animated Short Film: “Confino”
  • Jeffrey C. Barbakow Award – Best International Feature Film: “The Constitution”
  • Panavision Spirit Award for Independent Cinema: “The Good Catholic”
  • Nueva Vision Award for Spain/Latin America Cinema: “Tamara”
  • Social Justin Award for Documentary Film: “Angry Anuk”
  • Valhalla Award for Best Nordic Film: “Sami Blood”
