Driver Dead After Car Crashes Down Malibu Canyon

MALIBU, CA -- A driver died Saturday in Malibu after a car fell over a canyon. The incident was reported at 10:21 a.m. on Malibu Canyon Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP said the driver, identified as Raul Antonio Aguirre, 45, of Van Nuys, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A Sig Alert was issued for an unknown duration on Malibu Canyon Road from Piuma Road to Civic Center Way.
