These Two Cities Are 'The Most Hungover' In California (Yep, They're The Usual Suspects)

A real estate website ranked these two cities as the most hungover — because young people like to party. Go figure.

OK California, we like being No. 1, but being on the top of this list may not be something to brag about.

According to a recent ranking by the real estate website Trulia, California comes in second for having the most hungover cities but first for having them ranked on top of the list. (Go big or or home, amirite?)

Is it because of our award-winning wineries? Or the fact that we like our craft beers? Or just because we know a good party when we see one?

Well, according to Trulia, it's all three. The site took into account the number of bars in a city, the number of young people and the number of party suppliers for its ranking. It also looked at how many residents in a city reported binge drinking in the past month (so perhaps stop Instagramming those photos?).

“The city with the most party suppliers, young people and binge drinkers scored higher as a place to party,” Trulia unironically said in its news release.

According to these, um, criteria, San Francisco and San Diego are ranked Nos. 1 and 2 on the list.

Well, if you happen to get a bit too festive this New Year's Eve, remember, don't drink and drive.
