Traffic Signals Out After Malibu Power Outage
Traffic signals were malfunctioning in part of Malibu Friday morning due to a local power outage.

MALIBU, CA — Traffic signals were up and running again in Malibu after malfunctioning in multiple locations Friday morning due to a power outage.
Signals at Malibu Canyon Road, Civic Center Way and Seaver Road by Pepperdine University were out due to a power outage in the Civic Center area, according to the city of Malibu.
Southern California Edison reported an outage affecting around 280 customers between Monte Nido and Malibu on Friday. The outage started around 6:08 a.m., and a crew was performing repairs by 7:30 a.m., according to SCE.

"Motorists should treat the intersections as an all-way stop," the city said in an alert.
