Centinela Avenue Could Become Del Rey's Main Street

Residents can weigh in on Del Rey's future at a public meeting on Saturday.

Del Rey residents on Saturday are invited to give their input on the neighborhood’s future development, specifically how Centinela Avenue could transform into a main street in the decades ahead.

Loyola Marymount University urban planning students will present their review on the 2010 census and the current status of Centinela Avenue, and after the presentation, residents will discuss the issues and opportunities for the Del Rey community.

The group’s suggestions will then be sent in a formal report to the Los Angeles Planning Department.
