PLAYA DEL REY, CA - The man killed when a car crashed into the Hyperion Sewage Treatment plant in Playa Del Rey and caught fire was identified Tuesday as 39-year-old Marc Barrette.The crash at the plant located at 7650 W. Imperial Highway was reported about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.The car was fully involved in flames, Humphrey said. Barrette was pronounced dead at the scene. No other people were injured.Barrette's hometown was not known.--City News Service, photo via Shutterstock
