Lifeguards Search For Possible Missing Swimmer In Marina Del Rey
Crews are searching for a swimmer who was reported missing in Marina del Rey.
MARINA DEL REY, CA — Crews are searching a channel in Marina del Rey for a possible missing swimmer Thursday.
Divers and air crews were sent to the area near the 13400 block of Fiji Way shortly after 11 a.m., according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Five divers are conducting a "tow bar search" of the swimmer's last known position, according to LA County Fire Department lifeguards. However, crews have not found the swimmer during a preliminary search, according to reports.

County lifeguards and U.S. Coast Guard personnel were among those involved in the search operation, which was continuing nearly three hours afterward.
