Every third Sunday, AutoVino hosts Cars &amp; Cabernet, showcasing a stunning collection of rare and exotic cars. Guest vehicles are displayed in the parking lot, while additional display pieces are inside the showroom and car museum. Visitors can enjoy food and wine in the Wine Garden. The entire property is open for exploration, allowing guests to easily move between the cars, food, and wine throughout the afternoon.
The Cars
Cars &amp; Cabernet presents a collection of rare, luxury automobiles at the AutoVino property. The parking lot features stunning Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and Porsches, where owners enjoy friendly chats. The well-lit showroom displays these exotic cars in perfect condition, emphasizing their intricate details. Nearby, the museum provides a quiet space dedicated to automotive history and design, offering a relaxed experience for all visitors.
The Food
Food is a key part of the Cars &amp; Cabernet experience. Guests can gather around the restored 1955 Flxible diner bus, which serves as the kitchen in the Wine Garden. The menu features authentic Neapolitan-style pizzas cooked in a 900° oak-fired oven, along with tri-tip, salmon, classic burgers, and artisan charcuterie boards—all meant for sharing. The food is made on-site to enhance the relaxed atmosphere of the event.
The Wine
Local wines from Woodside Vineyards, including Cabernet, Zinfandel, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay, are available in the Wine Garden throughout the afternoon. Enjoy these wines while mingling among cars and tables, and take a moment to relax before exploring more vehicles.
Inside the Car Museum This Weekend
This Sunday aligns with NFL playoff weekend at the car museum, where guests can watch the games on two large screens with clear sound. They can easily move between the parking lot and the Wine Garden to enjoy football, food, wine, and notable vehicles in a thoughtfully designed indoor space.

Join the California Native Plant Society, Santa Clara Valley Chapter, for a Native Plant Seed and Cutting Exchange on Saturday, January 24 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at the Peninsula Conservation Center (PCC), 3921 E. Bayshore Road in Palo Alto. Propagation is a year-round activity, and this is a great time to start new plants from cuttings as well as seeds.
This free event is open to all and provides an opportunity to share and receive both cuttings and seeds of native plants. Browse the diverse offerings, ranging from easy-to-grow to hard-to- find, and go home with cuttings and seeds of new native plants! We will provide coin envelopes for seeds but bring containers in which to carry cuttings home.
If you have native plant material from your own garden to share, we encourage you to bring it. If you bring cuttings, keep them cool and moist in a bucket of water. Label your cuttings to make them easy to browse – some gardeners attach helpful hints about growing; others display photos of plants in bloom. You may find it convenient to use <a href="https://www.calscape.org/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">www.calscape.org</a> for this – there is a link on each plant’s information page to make a printable sign for most native species and cultivars.
 Don’t have native plant material to share? No problem, as there is usually enough for all.
A couple popular gardening books will be available for sale during the event, including Seed Propagation of Native California Plants (2021 ed.), by Dara E. Emery and California Native Plants for the Garden by Carol Bornstein, David Fross, and Bart O’Brien.
Our Wildflower Ambassadors will be giving out free seed packets and information as well.

Now in its 11th season, Seraph Brass was founded by trumpet soloist Mary Elizabeth Bowden with a mission to showcase the excellence of women brass players and highlight musicians from marginalized groups, both in personnel and in programming. Winners of the American Prize in Chamber Music, the group has been praised for its “beautiful sounds" (American Record Guide), "fine playing” (Gramophone), and “staggeringly high caliber of performance” (Textura).
The ensemble tours nationally and globally, and the 2024-25 season highlights included performances in Peru, Mexico, South Korea and across the U.S., as well as residencies at Yale University School of Music and The Frost School of Music in Miami. Members of Seraph Brass are passionate about music education and hold teaching positions at the University of North Texas, Shenandoah Conservatory, Texas State University, and Texas Lutheran University. In each of their tours, the group works to provide educational outreach to local schools.
Seraph Brass performs a diverse body of repertoire, ranging from original transcriptions to newly commissioned works and core classics. Their newest album was released in March and features new works for brass quintet and compositions by Jeff Scott, Reena Esmail, Kevin Day and Kevin McKee. Seraph Brass is a Yamaha Performing Group.
Reception one hour prior to performance, with complimentary hors d’oeuvres and soft drinks, and cash bar for wine and beer. The Harker Concert Series launched in 2010-11 as part of the school's ongoing commitment to share thoughtful, entertaining and engaging events with the greater Bay Area community.
