Police officers will be replacing the wait staff that night, taking orders from customers and tips.
All tips given at on the 13th between 5 and 9 p.m. will go toward funding The Special Olympic Law Enforcement Torch Run, which begins June 8, 2011 in advance of the Northern California Special Olympics Summer Games at U.C. Davis. More than 3,000 law enforcement officers are going to be participating in the event in Northern California. If all goes as planned, officers will run with the torch through San Mateo County on June 15.
