The Las Lomitas Education Foundation invites you and your family to participate in the first annual “Fun Run” in Menlo Park on Saturday.
Three separate run/walk events will be held, starting at 8 a.m. in the Las Lomitas kindergarten playground, said Matt Ohline, chair of the Las Lomitas Fun Run 2012 committee.
“It’s adjacent to Camono al Lago,” Ohline clarified.
Dailey Method will be leading a warm up at 8:10 a.m., while Starbucks serves coffee.
The events will include a short course for kids less than eight years old that starts at 8:30 and courses through the playground. A medium-length run for runners 15 and younger will follow roads in Atherton starting at 8:45. An all-ages, 5K walk/run through Atherton starts at 9:10 a.m.
“The events aren’t just for runners,” Ohline said. “Walkers and those pushing strollers are welcome as well.”
To register for the event, visit llef.org. Online registration closes on May 10. You can also register on race day at 7:30 a.m.

The event proceeds will benefit the Las Lomitas Elementary School District.
