The City of Menlo Park is inviting Belle Haven Neighborhood residents to help them refine the new identity of their town on Thursday.
The city is hosting a bilingual “Community Action Workshop” on June 20 to explore the future of the neighborhood and identify what the neighborhood needs.
Organizers say the meeting will be an opportunity for residents to share the values of the neighborhood, which will influence the types of projects that will be prioritized in the future.
This is one of a series of meetings about the Belle Haven Community Vision, which is an action plan that the City Council approved in September 2012. It is in draft form while the city’s outreach team collects feedback about the project; it is expected to be finalized in July 2013.
Childcare, refreshments and a translator will be provided. The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. and ends at 8:30 p.m. It will take place in the Senior Center, located at 110 Terminal Ave. in Menlo Park, California.
