Meta Opens 2.2-Acre Public Park Adjacent To Menlo Park Campus
The park, called Meta Park, includes a large plaza space with benches, art, a grass lawn, walking paths and a bicycle and pedestrian bridge.
MENLO PARK, CA — Meta, the company formerly known as Facebook, opened a 2.2-acre public park adjacent to its headquarters in Menlo Park on Saturday.
The park, called Meta Park, includes a large plaza space with benches, art, a grass lawn, walking paths and a bicycle and pedestrian bridge that connects the Belle Haven neighborhood with the Bay Trail and Bedwell Bayfront Park.
The park is also designed with native plants and trees. The company held a soft opening with community leaders on Saturday.

“It is wonderful to have more open space available to the community, with an educational component,” said Menlo Park City Councilmember Cecilia Taylor. “Now more than ever for our health and wellness we must have clean air and exercise.”
Ashley Quintana, the public policy manager of community engagement at Meta, said that Meta is “committed to our local community.”

“We’re proud to open Meta Park as a publicly accessible open space to be enjoyed by all and serve as a gateway to the Bridge and SF Bay Trail and beyond,” Quintana said.
