PG&E Changing Work Schedule on Sand Hill Road
People traveling through Menlo Park should expect traffic delays.

Menlo Park’s Public Works Director announced Tuesday night that PG&E will be working on Sand Hill Road during the day, starting October 4, which will create traffic delays.
“We’re hoping area residents will plan accordingly,” said Chip Taylor, public works director for the City of Menlo Park.
PG&E contract crews are replacing a gas pipeline and installing an emergency shut off valve on the westbound side of Sand Hill Road between Branner Drive and Sand Hill Circle.
U.S. Pipeline employees will be switching back to their day schedule, which began on August 14, and working from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. for the next two weeks.

After that, crews will be working between Saga Lane and the Rosewood Hotel. Taylor said the schedule changed to minimize noise at night.
