Two Crashes With Injuries On 101 Block Lanes For AM & PM Commutes
A PM vehicle crash on Highway 101 was cleared in Menlo Park. An earlier motorcycle crash occurred on the highway, injuring the rider.
MENLO PARK, CA -- A crash with injuries on the southbound side of U.S. Highway 101 at the busy Marsh Road exit in Menlo Park had blocked lanes for the afternoon commute, the California Highway Patrol reported. It has since cleared.
During the morning commute, a motorcyclist was involved in a multiple-vehicle collision on the northbound side of the highway near Willow Road, suffering a compound fracture in one of his legs, according to the CHP.
The motorcyclist struck a wall after colliding with a vehicle at about 4:55 a.m. The man was taken to Stanford Hospital.
