Four Months in Jail for Four Bags of Pot

The man had dozed off at a stop sign when police discovered the booty.

Peter Philippeos was sentenced on Friday to 120 days in jail and three years probation for felony posession of marijuana with intent to sell.

Millbrae police found Philippeos and a friend asleep at a stop sign on Magnolia Avenue on Aug. 22, 2010. Police arrested Philippeos for drunk driving, while the passenger was dropped off at Caltrain.

The police searched Philippeos’ truck and found a backpack with four packages of marijuana in the glove box. He admitted that he sells the baggies for $40-45 per baggie, according to San Mateo County District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe.
