Millbrae Residents and Police Donate to Charity

Money and food benefit families throughout the county.

The Millbrae Police Officers Association collected over $1,000 and five van loads of food for San Mateo County families in need.

The took place outside Safeway on Dec. 4, 5, 11 and 12 where officers and volunteers asked for donations to benefit CALL Primrose, a Burlingame nonprofit agency that assists San Mateo County families financially and with food.

"The MPOA is extremely grateful for the generosity shown by the wonderful people of Millbrae who made all of these donations of food and cash possible," said Officer Robert Raw in an  email.
