A mountain lion sighting was reported in Millbrae on Thursday, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office.

The Sheriff's Office sent out an alert at about 1:20 p.m. about the sighting in the 800 block of Lomita Avenue, which is located near Junipero Serra Park in San Bruno just across the city limits.
People were advised to use caution in the area.
