Mill Valley To Host Manhattan Chamber Players

MILL VALLEY, CA — A small piece of the Big Apple will soon be coming to Marin.

The Manhattan Chamber Players will perform next month at the Mill Valley Chamber Music Society’s concert series opener.

The collective of New York-based musicians will perform Nov. 14 at 5 p.m. at Mt. Tamalpais United Methodist Church (410 Sycamore Ave.).

The Manhattan Chamber features an impressive roster of musicians who come from the tradition of great music making at the Marlboro Music Festival, Steans Institute at Ravinia, Music@Menlo, Yellow Barn and Kneisel Hall Chamber Music Festivals, and Perlman Music Program.

They are former students of the Curtis Institute, Juilliard School, Colburn School, New England Conservatory, and Yale School of Music.
