Mill Valley Readies For Housing Element Workshop

MILL VALLEY, CA — Mill Valley will host a meeting next week that aims to address the city's housing crisis.

The Housing Advisory Committee will host its second Housing Element Workshop on Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

The workshop will focus on the sites inventory that is a required component of the Housing Element Update, city officials said.

A Housing Element provides an analysis of housing needs for residents of all income levels and develops strategies to provide for those in need.

The event will feature an overview of state requirements, what to expect in terms of those sites that are listed and identifying possible opportunities and strategies to consider as part of the sites inventory.
