Jury Selection Begins for Monrovia Man Accused of Molesting Students
Attorneys began the process of selecting a jury to preside over the trial of Wade Bughman, the Monrovia man accused of molesting and sexually abusing several students while teaching at a Duarte elementary school.

Jury selection began Wednesday in the trial of a Monrovia man accused of molesting and sexually abusing several of his students while he taught at a Duarte elementary school, a Pasadena Superior Court clerk said.
Wade Joseph Bughman is charged with 11 counts of molestation and sexual abuse for allegedly assaulting seven different students at Beardslee Elementary School between 1997 and 2010.
Bughman was arrested in June 2010 after several students came forward and accused him of abuse. He was placed on leave in April 2010 by the Duarte Unifed School District after administrators were alerted to the alleged abuse by responses in a school survey.
