Memorial Walk for Newtown Shooting Victims Planned in Monrovia
The Monrovia Unified School District sent out an email inviting parents to join in a memorial walk Friday at Library Park to remember the victims of the school shooting in Newtown, Connecticut.

From the Monrovia Unified School District:
This Friday 12/21/12 there is a world wide walk in memory of those who died in Newtown, Conneticut. It starts at 9:30 a.m. and will last 27 minutes, one minute in remembrance for each victim of this horrific tragedy.
You can wear green and white (the school's colors) and bring bubbles to blow at 9:57 a.m.

We will meet in front of the Monrovia Public Library water fountain at approximately 9:15 a.m. and will start the walk around the beautiful grounds of the library at exactly 9:30 a.m.
We live in such a united and beautiful community and this can be our way of showing our neighbors to the east we stand together in support of them.
