Minor Fire at Claim Jumper Saturday Night
The fire caused a brief evacuation but no structural damage.
A minor fire at Claim Jumper on Saturday night resulted in the restaurant being briefly evacuated, but ended up not causing any structural damage, according to Sgt. Don Newton of the Monrovia Police Department.
The fire occurred around 7 p.m, according to Newton. Firefighters responded to the scene and after briefly inspecting the building, gave the all clear for people to return.
Newton did not have any information about the cause of the fire.
