Monrovia Chamber Seeks Sponsors for Annual Membership and Awards Dinner

The deadline to apply for sponsorships is Dec. 2.

The Monrovia Chamber of Commerce is looking for sponsors for its Annual Membership and Awards Dinner Jan. 31.

Current sponsors at various levels include Athens Services, DoubleTree by Hilton Monrovia, J. Harrington Construction, and Exelis, according to the chamber's website.  

The deadline to sponsor the event is Dec. 2 so that the chamber can recognize sponsors properly in print and online. See the attached pdf for how to sponsor the event.

The Monrovia Chamber will recognize recipients of its 2013 annual awards at the event.

The Iris Award, Citizen of the Year, will be presented to Mark Still, the curator of exhibits for the Monrovia Historical Museum.

The Monroe Award, Business Person of the Year, will go to Diane Balsamo, Wells Fargo Home Mortgage and the Dick Lord Award for outstanding contributions to the Chamber will be given to Shawn Davis, Route 66 Weekly.

This year, the chamber has launched two new awards.  The New Member Business of the Year Award recipient will be announced in December. The Military Service and Stewardship Award goes to Chuck Keen "for his passionate work for veterans," according to the chamber's website.
