Monrovia's Free Summer Concert Series Continues This Weekend

MONROVIA, CA — Monrovia's summer concert series continues this Saturday with a performance by Langston Theard & Adoration at Station Square Park.

The family-friendly event is free to attend and will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m., according to a statement from Monrovia officials. Residents are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or picnic blankets to sit on the park grounds.

The concert series is held Saturdays at Station Square Park and Sundays at Library Park.

Here are the rest of the Saturday concerts at Station Square Park:

• July 24 — Langston Theard & Adoration, a jazz and gospel-soul band
• July 31 — The Kelly Boyz, a country music band
• Aug. 7 — Bumptown, a disco band
• Aug. 14 — The Answers, a classic rock band

Here is the schedule for the Sunday concerts at Library Park:

• July 25 — OC Groove, a jazz and soul band
• Aug. 1 — Boxcar 7, a jazz and blues band
• Aug. 8 — Mark Easterday, a country band
• Aug. 25 — Night Owl, a top 40 band
