Sept. 11 Remembrance Planned At Monrovia Fire Station 101
This year will mark the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, and the Monrovia Fire Department will hold a community remembrance.

MONROVIA, CA — Next week will make the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks and, in honor of the lives lost that day, Monrovia Fire and Rescue will hold a community remembrance service.
The service will be held at the fire department's headquarters, and doors will open at 7 a.m., organizers said. Light refreshments will be served to those in attendance.
The ceremony will begin at 8 a.m. and will include a moment of silence for the people who died in the attack.
