Suspect Arrested in Baseball Bat Robberies of Monrovia, Arcadia 7-11 Stores

A man suspected of robbing 7-11 stores throughout the San Gabriel Valley while wielding a baseball bat was arrested Thursday by sheriff's deputies, the San Gabriel Valley Tribune reported.

The unidentified man's alleged robbery spree began at a 7-11 in West Covina early Thursday morning before he struck other stores in Monrovia, Arcadia and unincorporated Pasadena, the paper reports. The man was eventually nabbed in Duarte.
