Trio Suspected Of Burglarizing 2 Monrovia Restaurants In Custody

Police said the men are suspected of burglarizing Smashburger and Menchie's Frozen Yogurt in the 600 block of West Huntington Drive.

MONROVIA, CA -- Three men suspected of breaking into two Monrovia restaurants early Monday morning are in custody, police said.

Police said the men are suspected of burglarizing Smashburger and Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt in the 600 block of West Huntington Drive.

Officers were responding to an alarm call at one of the businesses and arrived to see a car leaving the scene, Monrovia Police Department said. Officers tried to pull over the car but the suspects led police on a chase, police said.

The suspects fled the car in the area of Mayflower and Chesnut avenues, but were caught by officers, police said.

Rahshi Treadwell, 23, of Long Beach, Danny Owens, 21, of Colton and Joshua Harris, 18, of Colton were arrested on suspicion of burglary, conspiracy to commit a crime and felony evading, police said.
