Woman Arrested For Being Drunk At Monrovia Police Station: Cops
The woman walked in the station's lobby to wait for a friend, who had been arrested, to be released, police said.

MONROVIA, CA -- A woman was arrested for public drunkenness Saturday after walking into the Monrovia police station lobby to wait for a friend, police said.
The woman was waiting for a friend, who had been arrested, to be released, according to Monrovia Police Department.
While in the lobby waiting, an officer saw her drinking alcohol from a bottle and told the woman to pour out the alcohol outside, police said.

"When she walked outside the station, she tried to drink more whiskey from the bottle, but forgot the cap was on," Monrovia Police Department said in a statement.
The officer felt she was too drunk to care for own safety the woman was arrested for being drunk in public and held for a sobering period, police said.
