Big-Rig Crashes in Sun Valley Partially Closes 210 Freeway
The collision occurred about 9 p.m. on the westbound Foothill Freeway at La Tuna Canyon Road.

SUN VALLEY, CA- Two big rigs collided tonight on the Foothill (210) Freeway in Sun Valley, spilling their loads and temporarily shutting down several lanes of the freeway.
The collision occurred about 9 p.m. on the westbound Foothill Freeway at La Tuna Canyon Road, California Highway Patrol Officer Francisco Villalobos said.
The collision spilled loads of wood, grass, seeds and gardening supplies onto the freeway, forcing the closures of the Nos. 2, 3 and 4 lanes, Villalobos said.

Minor injuries were reported but there were no reports of anyone being taken to a hospital, Villalobos said.
The CHP declared a SigAlert at 10:43 p.m. and Caltrans crews were called to the scene to clean up the debris blocking the freeway lanes, Villalobos said.

There is no word on how long the lanes will be closed. The lanes closure has clogged traffic on the westbound Foothill Freeway and the CHP was advising motorists to use alternate routes.
