Event Details
The film It’s a Wonderful Life offers a beautiful reminder of the inherent worth of every human being. This Sunday, we’ll reflect on how “this little light of mine”—our unique life force, energy, and spirit—helps illuminate our community and the wider world.
We’ll hear a bit of background on the film (including how a house in nearby La Cañada stood in for the new home of an Italian immigrant family whose American Dream is made possible by George Bailey’s kindness), we’ll recreate a scene or two together (scripts provided), and we’ll close by lighting candles to celebrate the beauty of our shared light.
