Concert Under the Stars to Benefit Crescenta Valley Drug and Alcohol Prevention Coalition

There will be a free Concert Under the Stars in La Crescenta featuring music from Café Fuego on Aug. 17 that will be a fundraiser for the Crescenta Valley Drug and Alcohol Prevention Coalition. 

The event will take place at the La Crescenta First Baptist Church, and benefits will go to the free pre-parenting session that will take place at the Crescenta-Cañada YMCA starting September. 

“The sessions will be every Tuesday night, it's something we’ve done in the last three years,” Nancy Stone of the CV Drug & Alcohol Prevention Coalition told the Crescenta Valley Town Council on Thursday. “We will be having guest speakers at the sessions and one way were going to try to pay for this is by having the concert on the outdoor parking lot of the church.”

The event not only will host live music, but there ill also be gourmet food trucks available. 

The concert will take place at 4441 La Crescenta Ave. and it will begin at 7 p.m.
