Teddy is a rescue dog that the Raghavachary family brought home for 8-year-old twins Becky and Josh on their birthday in December, after months of them begging for a dog, Sharon Raghavachary told Patch.
"He was 4 months old and the kids instantly fell in love with him after seeing his picture on petfinders.com," she said.

Becky taught Teddy to jump through a hula hoop and he can also chase a soccer ball, although he is barely bigger than the ball.
Josh, Sharon's son, has hydrocephalus and the Raghavacharys found that having Teddy has helped their son.
"Josh has hydrocephalus and as a result has some behavior and social difficulties. Teddy is now Josh's best friend and is very gentle with him and we feel that in some way Teddy understands Josh's issues," she said.
"Also, Josh is a patient at Children's Hospital Los Angeles and when Teddy is older I want to train him to be a therapy dog to visit the kids there."
Congrats to Teddy and the Raghavachary family!
