Verdugo Hills Hospital Purchased by USC

USC announced Tuesday that it has acquired the 158-bed Verdugo Hills Hospital in Glendale.

"We will find innovative ways to deliver the very best patient
care to the people of the Foothills and throughout Southern California,'' said USC President C.L. Max Nikias in a statement.
  
USC did not attach a sum to the transaction but said it would make $30
million in capital investments into the facility.

The deal closed today.
