Who Should Be Montrose's Person of the Year?

If you know someone who helped make Montrose or La Crescenta a better place, nominate them.

Know someone who just seems to be everywhere, contributing time and effort and energy?

TIME Magazine named The Protestor as person of the year. Who do you think is the person of the year for our community? Is this person a local leader, business owner, parent, teacher, bus driver or friend?

Or, maybe you know someone who did a fabulous one-off that changed the local conversation for good?

Include why you think they should get our honor.

You might also mention the groups they're involved with and who you are.

We'd prefer no anonymous nominations.

You can even upload their picture to this article too.

Make those nominations by 5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28.

Then we'll be back at you with a chance to vote.

The winner will be profiled on the site and win a Patch tote bag.

I know we have many dedicated, enthusiastic people in Montrose and La Crescenta--and a long history of public service and volunteerism--so get nominating.

Who knows we might even pick two--one from Montrose and another from La Crescenta.
