Each year, the city of Moorpark sponsors a Beach Bus, which makes trips to Zuma, and this year's program has begun.
Zoom to Zuma on one of two round trips offered Tuesdays through Thursdays (see a full schedule here).
The trips, which run through Aug. 15 is $5 for most riders and $2 for senior and disabled riders. A beach pass is also available.
The following rules apply:
- Must have exact change.
- No smoking, eating, or drinking is allowed on buses.
- All materials (boogie boards, back packs, coolers, etc.) must be stored in the bus storage compartment during the trip to/from Zuma Beach.
- Rude or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
- Arrival and departure times are approximate, and riders are encouraged to assemble at the bus stops ten minutes prior to departure.
- Passengers must use the correct return trip from Zuma Beach. Passengers on Trip 1 to Zuma must use Trip 3 to return to Moorpark. Passengers on Trip 2 to Zuma must use Trip 4 to return to Moorpark.
- The City of Moorpark is not responsible for any lost and/or stolen items.
- Riders who miss the bus will need to find their own transportation back to Moorpark.
