Here's a handful of things to keep in mind for today.

    If you have an event you'd like us to consider for Five Things, be sure to add it to the events calendar. We check it often!
    • Kids can read to a dog at the library at 10:30 a.m. As well, the library hosts its Reading Buddies program at 2 p.m. and Pajama Storytime at 6:30 p.m. The Moorpark City Library is at 699 Moorpark Ave.
    • It's Bingo Day at the Active Adult Center. Play with the American Legion at 1 p.m. The Center is at 799 Moorpark Ave.
    • For the third and final time this week, Muvico will host a free screening of How to Train Your Dragon. The screening begins at 10 a.m. at 166 W. Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks (at The Oaks mall).
    • The Civic Center Stadium 16 movie theater in Simi Valley offers a $1 screening of Racing Stripes and Happy Feet Two at 10 a.m. The theater is at 2751 Tapo Canyon Road again as well.
