Nearly 3,000 customers were affected by a power outage in the west end of Simi Valley early Tuesday evening.
The cause of the outage, which began at 5:27 p.m., was unknown at the time of publication, according to Southern California Edison, which estimated power would be restored to most customers by 7 p.m.
