2 Arrested At Murrieta McDonalds With Stolen Vehicle, Police Say

Officers spotted a reported stolen vehicle leaving the drive-thru of McDonald's in Murrieta, officials said Friday.

MURRIETA, CA — Two people were arrested on suspicion of driving a stolen vehicle in Murrieta, police said Friday.

After receiving reports of a stolen vehicle traveling around the city, police found the car leaving the drive-thru of a McDonalds in Murrieta, the Murrieta Police Department said.

"So much for their #HappyMeal," officers wrote on Instagram.

Nine police units were dispatched to the fast food restaurant, where two people were arrested and taken to jail, police said.

No other information was immediately available.
