PERRIS, CA — Two Riverside County suspects were arrested months after a Perris jewelry robbery, officials say.

Jaylin Solomon, 18, of Moreno Valley, and an unidentified 17-year-old also of Moreno Valley, were both behind bars Thursday, on pending felony robbery charges, according to the Riverside County jail records. Solomon was located and arrested without incident on Wednesday in Ontario, while the juvenile was placed under arrest on Oct. 6 in the 900 block of Morgan Street, Perris. Solomon was being held at the Southwest Detention Center and was awaiting a Friday court date at the Riverside Hall of Justice. The 17-year-old suspect was booked into the Juvenile Hall for participating in the August robbery.

Deputies located evidence associated with the robbery in the possession of the younger suspect at the time of the arrest, according to Sgt. Kevin Mahoney.

"On August 22, 2025, at 5:35 p.m., deputies from the Perris Sheriff’s Station were dispatched to the 1000 block of Laguna Street, Perris, regarding a robbery at gunpoint," Mahoney said. "Upon arrival, deputies learned two suspects had taken jewelry from the victims while armed with a handgun and had fled the area. Deputies searched, but were unable to locate the suspects."

The Perris Station’s Robbery and Burglary Suppression Team took charge of the investigation. It wasn't until Wednesday that officers, assisted by the Riverside County Gang Impact Team and the Riverside County Sheriff’s K9 team, took Solomon into custody in the 100 block of East Emporia Street, Ontario.
