HEMET, CA — A residential fire Friday morning killed three dogs and displaced an adult and two children in Hemet, Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department said.
The fire was reported at around 6:25 a.m. and contained to a two-car garage in a two-unit apartment building in the 411700 block of Marine Drive, according to the fire department.
The American Red Cross was requested to assist the three people displaced by the fire. Animal Control was also requested to assist with the three dogs who died at the scene.

It was unknown if the adult or children suffered any injuries.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
