5 People Injured In Menifee Traffic Pileup

MENIFEE, CA — One person required extrication from a five-vehicle crash in Menifee Saturday, Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department reported.

The crash was reported around 12:15 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of Scott and Daily roads.

A total of nine patients were assisted, one of whom required extrication, the department said.

Four of the patients were assessed and declined further medical care. Two were left with moderate injuries, and three patients with minor injuries were taken to a hospital.

Southern California Edison was en route to the scene to assess damage to a power pole.
