Concert Series Comes To Santa Rosa Plateau Summer 2023: What To Know
The seven-week event kicks off with an opening night reception to meet the local artists and their works in the art show and live music.

MURRIETA, CA — An annual summer art and concert series is planned at the Santa Rosa Plateau Ecological Reserve in Murrieta for 2023.
The art shows open at 5 p.m. and is followed by outdoor concerts at 6:30 p.m. every Saturday from June 24 through Aug. 5 at the at Santa Rosa Plateau Ecological Reserve Visitor Center’s Outdoor Stage, located at 39400 Clinton Keith Road.
The concerts will take place during the 23rd annual Santa Rosa Plateau Art Exhibition, where art and music will come alive under majestic oak trees, a spokesperson for the event said. Concert-goers can expect a new, bigger stage behind the visitor’s center with beautiful trees and twilight skies creating a breathtaking backdrop.

Traditionally, the seven-week event kicks off with an opening night reception to meet the local artists and their works in the art show. The evening will include musical entertainment, hors d'eourves and no-host local wine and craft beers.
"Opening night will be expanded to feature a show comprised of a local youth dance performance from the Temecula Academy of Ballet Arts for what is sure to be a special night," a spokesperson said.

Starting July 1, concerts will feature tribute acts including Elton John/The Early Years, The Highwayman Show by Tony Suraci, Hall & Oats by Private Eyes, the return of the Motown tribute by Uptown, the Beach Boys’ music arrives with the popular Surfs Up band, and closing out the series is the nationally acclaimed Bee Gees tribute band Bee Gees Gold.
The Nature Education Foundation's executive director Ginger Greaves spoke on the upcoming event.
“Magic occurs at these concert nights that cannot be explained unless you’ve been there,” Greaves said. “It’s a truly fun, entertaining and beautiful evening.”
A total of 30 local artists will display their works in a variety of mediums including oils, watercolors, glass, and sculptures.
The art exhibition will be open during the Saturday night concerts but will require a concert admission ticket, purchased in advance.
Wine, Music And Delicious Food Available
Wine from Plateau Vineyards and craft beer from Garage Brewing Co will be
available for purchase along with other non-alcoholic refreshments.
Guests can bring a picnic or pre-order a delicious dinner prepared by The Naughty Pig, which
must be purchased in advance online at www.plateauconcertsandart.org.
"New this year is a special VIP ticket that will include one table seating, one picnic
dinner from Naughty Pig, 2 drink tickets, event t-shirt and 1 reserved parking for 2
or more in a vehicle," said Greaves.
Guests must bring their own chairs, except for the VIP ticket holder. Off-site
parking is offered with free shuttle service.
“The synergy of an event that supports educating our youth to protect the Reserve
and places like it, along with art, music and wholesome time enjoyed by families
and individuals is memorable and uplifting,” Greaves said.

July 1 -- Elton John/The Early Years with Kenny Metcalf --
You’ll believe that the legendary Elton is on stage.
July 8 – The Highwayman Show – with Tony Suraci. The extremely popular
nine-piece band performs the music of Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Willie
Nelson, and more.
July 15 – Private Eyes -- Award-winning tribute band with the exact sounds and
energy of the original Hall & Oats.
July 22 – Uptown -- The sound of Motown returns with this act that sold out way
before their date last year.
July 29 – Surfs’ Up -- Experience the iconic sound and vibe of the Beach Boys.
Aug. 5 –Bee Gees Gold – This fun group will close out this year’s season. Don’t
miss the nation’s No. 1 Bee Gees tribute band.
