Convicted Lake Elsinore Criminal Re-Arrested In Murrieta
Richard Angels, 29, was seen burglarizing a car in Murrieta, police said.

MURRIETA, CA -- A convicted criminal from Lake Elsinore was arrested recently after allegedly burglarizing a car in Murrieta. The incident was reported at 2:41 p.m. on Dec. 30 in area of Calle Yorba Vista and Hancock Avenue, police said.
A resident reportedly called police after witnessing a man going into a neighbor's car then leaving. Police investigated the area and found Richard Angels, who matched the burglar description provided by the witness.
Police said Angels, 29, has an extensive criminal history, dating back 14 years with convictions for theft, vehicle theft, possession of stolen property, possession of burglary tools, possession of stolen vehicles, burglary and narcotics related charges.

In a search, police said they found Angels to be in possession of methamphetamine and metal knuckles. Stolen property was returned to the owner, police said.
Angels was booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center.
