The Crafted Scone Murrieta Serves Up Fresh Baked Goodness
If you love pastries, good coffee and a hang-out spot for conversation, we have found the place for you in Murrieta's The Crafted Scone.
MURRIETA, CA —One of Old Town Murrieta's favorite breakfast spots has made a fan out of Patch. With scratch-bakery items from scones to sconewiches (yes, that's a thing) and from toasts to hearty casseroles, there is something for everyone to enjoy when you go.
In Murrieta, The Crafted Scone is located at 24630 Washington Ave #101. It opened in 2020 and has just kept growing, according to the owners. There is both dine-in and outdoor seating, and we suggest that when you go, stay awhile and sample and share the many scone flavors.

We loved their careful attention to the coffee and teas, each of which can be perfectly paired with the rotating flavors of flaky scones made with owner Amber's proprietary recipe.

"Nothing brings people together like a cozy place to gather that is full of hospitality," she said on the website. She feels her mission is to spread grace and kindness to others and has worked to create that same vibe in both of The Crafted Scone locations.

Patch visited the Temecula location on our dime to try the scones, and learned there was much more behind the glass bakery case.
Both bakeshops welcome guests with inviting cases packed with baked goods. Behind the doors, you'll find delectable scones in both sweet and savory flavors. All are made fresh daily and a barista is more than happy to create any number of teas and coffee drinks.

Walking inside Temecula's Crafted Scone is a little like entering your best friend's cozy kitchen. An aura of welcome invited us inside with an on-point design, from the fireplace facade to the comfy chairs underneath the windows.
The air wafts with the scents of fresh biscuits baking. Behind the glass case, scones and casseroles sit in various flavors. We chose the vanilla bean scones and lattes, which did not disappoint.
The staff was friendly and helpful. Inside, the table space was ample and a few cozy nooks would be perfect for remote work or hanging out with a good book. For many, it has become an ideal meet-up spot for residents in the months since opening.

The Crafted Scone recently held a successful Cars and Coffee event, inviting both gearheads and scone lovers to hang out together on the outdoor patio.
That patio is frequently full most days when the weather is warm and sunny, so we've heard. Be sure to stake out your seat, and let us know when you go!
Temecula's The Crafted Scone is located at in the off-the-beaten-path Bel Villagio shopping area between Ring Road and Margarita Road in the Promenade Temecula Shopping Center at 41413 Margarita Road, Temecula.
