Woman Dies After Being Hit By Vehicle On Murrieta's Nutmeg Street
She was transported to Wildomar's Inland Valley Hospital but succumbed to her injuries Thursday evening, police announced Friday.
MURRIETA, CA — A woman who was struck by a vehicle Thursday morning on Nutmeg Street in Murrieta died at a local hospital, police confirmed Friday.
The woman, whose identity was not released by officials, was struck just before 6 a.m. on Nutmeg at Washington Avenue. She was transported by ground ambulance to Wildomar's Inland Valley Hospital but succumbed to her injuries later in the evening, according to Murrieta police Lt. Jeremy Durrant.
The driver involved in the incident was questioned at the scene and no arrest was made.

"The collision is still under investigation and the cause has not been determined," police said Friday.
Nutmeg Street was closed in both directions Thursday between Washington and Nicolette Way. The roadway was reopened at 9:49 a.m., Durrant said.
