Davids Natural Toothpaste Establishes Menifee Headquarters

MENIFEE, CA — Southwest Riverside County's homegrown company, Davids Natural Toothpaste, is setting up its new corporate headquarters and manufacturing facility in Menifee, it was announced this week.

"Locating to one of California’s fasting growing and business-friendly cities was an easy decision for Davids Natural Toothpaste,” company founder and CEO Eric Buss said in a released statement Monday. “We saw the immense growth in Menifee and their focus on advanced technology and innovation and look forward to growing our brand in this community.”

Davids will be located in the Scott Road Commerce Center on Zeiders Road, adjacent to the Interstate 215/Scott Road interchange, in the city's emerging Innovation District.

Davids toothpaste will be packaged and distributed at the Menifee hub, according to a joint news release from the city and the company.

"This advanced manufacturing process will be carried out utilizing sophisticated hybrid technology that is fully computerized and automated, creating a streamlined process overseen by local employees, thereby expanding high-quality, high-tech jobs for the region," according to the news release.

Buss founded Davids Natural Toothpaste in Temecula in 2015. The company operated in an approximately 8,000-square-foot space in Murrieta before inking the Menifee deal.

The Murrieta lease had expired and the new Menifee space is twice as large, Buss told Patch.

"We needed the added space," he said.

According to the company, Davids toothpaste uses only naturally sourced, sustainable ingredients that are packaged in recyclable components. Currently, the company offers six different toothpaste products.

In a released statement, Gina Gonzalez, economic development director for Menifee, said the city is thrilled to have Davids onboard.

“We have worked relentlessly as a city to create a business environment that encourages development and we are seeing it come to fruition with these targeted industries joining our robust business community,” she said. “Davids Natural Toothpaste is a welcomed addition to our emerging Innovation District and we look forward to seeing their growth and integration into the Menifee community.”
