Dementia Patient Who Disappeared in Menifee Found Safe

Jennie Vasquez was reported missing Wednesday after she stopped at a bank, police said.

MENIFEE, CA — A 77-year-old Menifee woman with mild dementia who went missing last week was back home Tuesday with her family.

Jennie Vasquez was reported missing Wednesday after she stopped at a bank near the intersection of McCall and Sun City boulevards and did not return home that afternoon.

Family members became alarmed because of her memory challenges and her need for health monitoring due to diabetes, according to Riverside County sheriff's Sgt. Curt Harris.
