Driver Dies After Crash With Semi Truck In Menifee
The driver of a pickup suffered a medical emergency after colliding into the back of a big rig on Highway 74, police said.
MENIFEE, CA — A driver died after running into a semi-truck in Menifee on Wednesday, police said Thursday.
Officers responded to the crash at 9:30 p.m. near the intersection of Menifee Road and Highway 74, according to the Menifee Police Department.
Police determined the driver of a pickup truck had rear-ended the big rig. The pickup driver suffered a medical emergency while first responders were on scene, police said.

Even though lifesaving measures were rendered and he was taken to a hospital, he died of his injuries, officials said.
Police don't believe alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash, but the exact cause was still under investigation.
