Driver Dies In Rollover Collision On I-215 In Murrieta
A Hemet woman died just before noon Thursday in a wreck on southbound I-215, north of Linnel Lane, according to the CHP.
MURRIETA, CA — A 42-year-old woman was fatally injured in a rollover collision involving other vehicles on Interstate 215 in Murrieta, authorities said Friday.
Jasmine Gomez of Hemet died just before noon Thursday in a wreck on southbound I-215, north of Linnel Lane, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The agency said that Gomez was at the wheel of a sedan that impacted a pickup with a trailer and another vehicle, causing her car to veer out of control and overturn in the fast lane.

Murrieta Fire & Rescue crews reached the location minutes later and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
The parties in the other vehicles were assessed by paramedics but apparently did not require hospitalization.

Southbound lanes were partially closed until 5 p.m. while the wreckage was cleared and a preliminary investigation was conducted.
